Every wedding reception is different, with each couple having different preferences and, most importantly, different budgets. At Hog Roast Marston, we have menus at a variety of price points, with something that is sure to be a great addition to your big day!
Carly and Tim have been together since they met at a work function almost ten years ago. They never intended to get married until Carly randomly asked Tim to marry her last summer. Since then, the pair have been planning a casual, intimate wedding, followed by the honeymoon of their dreams! They will be travelling around Asia and Australia for 7 months in 2024, starting at a beautiful resort and then backpacking the rest of the way. To leave plenty of funds for this trip, they are not going overboard with their wedding and instead are choosing to host their reception at their home in the Midlands. The event will be quiet, with only close friends and family on the guest list. To ensure that it is still a memorable and exciting occasion, Hog Roast Marston has been hired to serve a classic hog roast at the event. Our catering manager Lee will be on hand to ensure that this menu goes down a treat!
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Marston team will arrive at the venue in the morning to prepare for the 2:00pm serving time. Our food prep will begin by slow-roasting the hog to perfection and ensuring that it is packed full of natural juices and flavours. Once it is time to serve, the pork will be carved by Lee and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a green leaf salad to create a varied and nutritious buffet lunch.
