Winter Weddings and a launch party

Today, Ashley, Faye, Jordie and Dean had the pleasure of catering for Megan and Toms wedding in Birmingham. The winter feel in the grounds surrounding the venue made for some wonderful wedding photographs, not to mention the photographs taken of the bride and groom posing as if they were carving the pig!! The guests were treated to canapés and champagne on arrival provided by us, followed by a hog roast and roasted silversides of beef, served with new potatoes and salad, then topped off with sticky toffee pudding and custard! A real treat on such a cold day! All the best to Megan and Tom for the future.

Becky and Justine provided a hog roast for a local wedding in Hinckley for 100 guests. The bride and groom were delighted with the catering and have asked for our team to return next summer to celebrate the brides birthday!

The team provided some excellent catering and helped to celebrate John and Christina’s wedding tonight in Barwell, Leicestershire. 130 guests devoured a hog roast, crispy crackling, stuffing and apple sauce, accompanied by jacket potatoes and lashing of hot fillings. There was not an empty belly in the house! The wedding was a Medieval themed wedding, so the food provided was perfectly suited and the guests even argued over who was going to take the bones to chew!!

Faye, Ashley and Becky travelled to the heart of London today to cater for the launch party of the Festival of Architecture. This was a really important event for the United Kingdom, as it was the launch of plans to encourage Cities and Counties nationwide to create more areas of greenery, in order to make the UK a more pleasant place to work, rest and play. We provided 2 whole roasted pigs, which were cooked on site, alongside 12 legs of pork, 30 quiches of various flavours and 1500 cucumber sandwiches for the 1200 invited members of the Hoi Poloi. The delicious food was accompanied by lashings of Pimms and champagne and the evening was a afternoon success!!
