Lexi is turning 18 later this March and her parents have planned a wonderful birthday party for her to enjoy. The party is taking place at a local function room which will be filled with pink decorations, as this is Lexi’s favourite colour. The night will be packed full of singing and dancing, with a DJ there to play everyone’s favourite songs. For the catering, Hog Roast Kingswinford has been hired to provide a classic hog roast for the occasion. Our catering manager Lee planned the menu, with the catering needing to be suitable for 100 guests of all ages. Additionally, we will need to provide a meat-free and gluten-free main dish to ensure that every guest can enjoy what we have to offer.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Kingswinford team is planning on arriving at the venue in the afternoon so that we have plenty of time to prepare for the 8:00pm mealtime. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that is cooked to perfection, as well as roasting some pork sausages and meat-free sausages. The main dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls, or a gluten-free alternative, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling.
