With a choice of tranquil tipis and marvellous marquees to pick from, this incredible site, which can be found tucked away in the extraordinarily beautiful Herefordshire countryside surrounded by towering apple trees, has so much to offer; and Hog Roast Shottery couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that we recently secured a partnership with this exceptional venue!
We’re even more ecstatic to share that our team had the chance to experience working at The Orchard for the first time ever last month after we had been called in to handle the catering for Emma and Murray’s incredible wedding!
The happy couple enjoyed their special day under one of the site’s famous tipis, which had been decorated with twinkling lights and authentic wooden dining furniture. The festival-style tent was a huge talking point of the day, as was the quaint trailer, which had been painted mint green and converted into a portable cocktail bar.
Emma and Murray’s entire wedding teamed with personality, and as always, our traditional hog roast had no trouble living up to the lively atmosphere! Hog Roast Shottery’s Chris and Natalie impressed the group with a fabulous feast of juicy pulled pork, crispy crackling, stuffing and applesauce, which they served with a variety of sides and fresh salad options. Chargrilled wraps and soft rolls were served in baskets for the guests to dig into as well as condiments and dips for adding extra flavour.
Head of Team Orchard, Jayne, was over the moon with how well our Hog Roast Shottery superstars performed on the day of this event – everything tasted delicious, and the guests were very happy! As a result, Jayne has already recommended our services to a couple who are getting hitched at The Orchard in 2023!
