Tonight Becky and Faye traveled to Calderfield Golf Club in Walsall to cater for a 30th Birthday celebration, with a James Bond theme. There were approximately 200 guests dressed in evening dresses and tuxedos, and they were treated to a selection of casino tables, a cocktail bar, a very lively disco and after dinner fire works. As well as this, the catering consisted of a Sumptuous Hog roast with crispy crackling, apple sauce and stuffing, jacket potatoes with various fillings, salads and a vegetarian curry. Even with this multitude of fare, it didn’t take long for the party goers to polish off every last crumb! The evening was a roaring success and it was a pleasure to work with the staff at the Golf Club.

Also tonight, Ashley and Mark catered for at a Party for a well known catalogue store in Burton Upon Trent. The guests were treated to a Carvery of Roasted Lamb, Roasted Turkey and Roasted Pork, accompanied by roasted potatoes with rosemary and garlic, a selection of seasonal vegetables, stuffing, gravy and condiments. The venue was the Guild Hall and was a very grand setting for such an occasion. After dinner, we were invited to stay and enjoy the entertainment, which was an excellent soul singer. Although we could have easily been tempted to stay and party long into the night, as always duty calls and we returned to base to clean down our equipment and rest before the beginning of another busy week.
