Having been in the catering business for close to 30 years, our team knows what it takes to create a memorable dining experience for our guests, and our catering manager, Lee, is renowned for going the extra mile to help our clients achieve their goals. Most recently, he assisted Emma and Justin with their big day.
The bride and groom’s 14 months of planning culminated in a beautiful ceremony last weekend, which was attended by close to 200 guests. With that many people to cater for, time was of the essence for Hog Roast Witton, who had been hired to create a custom spread following the vows.
In the face of pressure, Lee, as he always does, remained calm and collected, which allowed him and the team to power through and whip up a massive buffet, complete with a traditional hog roast with all the bells and whistles, a spit-roasted lamb with Yorkshire puddings and mint sauce, BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls and a vast assortment of sides, including fresh salads, coleslaw, mixed fries and steamed seasonal vegetables.
Hog Roast Witton also prepared handmade canapes, which our waiting staff served to guests upon their arrival, as well as Italian-style charcuterie boards, a grazing table complete with nibbles and finger snacks and two dessert choices followed by a wedding cake service.
From start to finish, Lee ensured that everything ran smoothly on the day, which Emma and Justin were very appreciative of. With no hiccups to deal with, the happy couple was grateful for the chance to enjoy their special day with a delicious fresh-cooked meal, which all of the guests complimented.
