Stacey and her partner have been dating since they first met in 2005 at a party of one of their mutual friends. Since then, they have had 3 lovely children together and a beautiful home in the Midlands. Earlier this summer, the couple got engaged while on holiday in Spain and have been planning on hosting a party to celebrate their news with friends and family. The couple planned to host the party at their home, with guests gathering in the garden and living room. For the catering, Hog Roast Finstall was hired to provide a buffet for the guests to enjoy and our catering manager Lee was happy to get involved. The event was set to be a great event and an excellent way to share the good news.
The event took place on a Saturday evening and the Hog Roast Finstall team arrived at the family home in the afternoon, giving us plenty of time to prepare the menu. We began by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection, before it was expertly sliced by our chef. Once ready, the meat was served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For meat-free guests, we served some tasty veggie sausages. The mains were served with homemade chips and several seasonal salad dishes, to create a varied and tasty menu. Our catering went down a treat and was a great addition to an already wonderful party!
