Hog Roast Luton Have The Pleasure Of Catering A Beautiful Christening

Recently, the Hog Roast Luton team were hired by Steph for her local event. The event was for Steph’s son Christening so it was really important that everything ran smoothly for such a special occasion. The event was being hosted at the Royal British Legion Club in Bushey, Hertfordshire. The team arrived several hours in advance so that they could cook and prepare all of the food on site so that all of the food tasted really fresh. The buffet was served outside so the food was served in professional heated trays to keep it warm.

Hog Roast LutonSteph selected a classic hog roast menu which was cooked by the team onsite using the Hog Roast Luton team’s professional Hog Master machines. The fantastically tender hog meat was served alongside some crispy crackling which was served by the professional machine. A selection of classic homemade sides were served on the buffet table including large wicker baskets of bread rolls and wraps as well as apple sauce and homemade stuffing. As an alternative to the meat, a vegetarian option of lightly grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers served with pitta breads with a Tzatziki dip. At the client’s request, the team also served an additional side dish of chips to match the casual atmosphere of the event.

The food was served from 1:15pm as a late lunch time service so it was important that there was enough food for everyone as the buffet was replacing the guests’ lunch meal. The buffet itself was served to 90 people who all really enjoyed the food and were impressed with the fantastic quality of the food. The food was cooked by the Hog Roast Luton team’s Catering Manager, Greg, who did a fantastic job of the service. Steph was really pleased with how professional and polite the team were and was impressed by the quality of the service. She thought that the food tasted amazing and all of her guests gave her some fantastic feedback on how good the buffet tasted. She was over the moon with the stress free experience and was really pleased that she had picked the team.
