Hog Roast Ledbury at Millie and Vincent’s superb engagement party.

Hog Roast Ledbury’s latest clients contacted the team almost immediately after their stunning engagement. Clients Millie and Vincent knew straight away they wanted to have the team as their event caterers. The event had a guest list of 25 people and was taking place in a large barn.

Millie and Vincent worked closely with the Hog Roast Ledbury team to put together a suitably exciting and hearty menu for their event. Millie and Vincent were very happy when everything they wanted came in at the right price, they couldn’t wait for their celebration.

Hog Roast LedburyFortunately on the day there was plenty of indoor space for Catering Manager Greg to set up the cooking equipment and serving table, the weather had taken a turn for the worse and Greg was glad to be inside rather than out in the blustery wind and rain. He got straight to work on preparing all the platters for the buffet.

Millie and Vincent were thrilled when they led their guests to the buffet table, it was a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds. They and all their guests were able to serve themselves a whole host of tasty delights using the Hog Roast Ledbury bamboo crockery and cutlery that the team had provided as part of the couples catering package.

The delicious buffet included meaty treats like Texan 24hr Beef Brisket, Cajun spiced whole roast chickens and Fall off the bone Louisiana Pork Ribs, there was even tasty dips and sauces to accompany those meats- thought they were strongly flavoured and not for the faint hearted!

However, there were also other dishes which would appeal to all tastes and dietary requirements, such as hearty American style Mac and Cheese, hot corn cobettes, Memphis style crunchy coleslaw and the pièce de résistance (the most popular dish) a mountain of skin on potato wedges.

Chef Greg quietly tidied away the cooking equipment and took all rubbish from the catering of the event off site with him to dispose of responsibly. Millie and Vincent later sent their thanks to Greg and the rest of the team for their hard work. The celebration had been as perfect as they had wished
