Glorious sunshine fo a hog roast in Ansley!

The warmest weekend of the year so far glorious sunshine! Hog roast Ansley were at a castle catering for a wedding and we must say it is the most enchanting place we have ever catered at, the rooms were magnificent and there were antique artefacts everywhere. We drafted in some extra staff as we were doing a hog roast in Ansley catering for one thousand and a lot of preparation and hard work had went into this event. Three pigs, fifty chickens, seventy joints of beef were placed onto the machines the tables were set in white and silver and looked wonderful. We then went onto prepared the vegetables and a mammoth task it was indeed! Last minute eventsWe made some butter garlic new potatoes, sweet potatoes, roasted parsnip and sweet peas to accompany the meat we then made some thick gravy made from the goodness from the meats they were amazing! Some lovely sage stuffing, applesauce completed the meal, the hall was filling up with guests and the bride and groom made their appearance looking radiant, and everyone gasped as they walked into the room. Time to eat and everyone took their places and sat ready our smart immaculate waitresses carried the food and served the guests the waitresses have impeccable manners and are always polite and courteous to all the guests and really did us proud. The Pork and crackling was a favourite the crackling cooked wonderful as it always does and our waitresses left some of our cards on the tables just in case any of the guests were thinking of hosting a party. The guests then went out into the grounds to enjoy the sun shine and hog Roast hire Ansley did the same accompanied by a refreshing glass of iced lemonade oh it really hit the spot so refreshing and we were transfixed on the wonderful countryside on the horizon out side the castle we took lots of pictures and the bride and groom gave us there permission to put them on our website and that was our first job as soon as we landed back at the office tired but happy that we had pulled off another good job…
