A Spectacular Wedding Breakfast From Hog Roast Aylesbury

Life is finally starting to look normal again, and with the glorious summer weather making its long-awaited return, Hog Roast Aylesbury has been flooded with requests from those brides and grooms who are keen to get their big days out the way before the sunshine disappears for another year. Our most recent booking came from Isabella and her fiance Derek, who in preparation for their nuptials on Friday had asked us to serve our southern slow-roast menu for their wedding breakfast.

Hog Roast AylesburyWith the wedding party of 30 due to arrive at the country manor house reception venue later on in the afternoon, the Hog Roast Aylesbury team afforded themselves a slightly later start to their day. By 11 am, the catering crew had packed the van full of fresh and wholesome ingredients and were ready to hit the road under the reliable guidance of our SatNav.

Though it had been a chilly start to the morning, the temperature soon picked up and by the time the team arrived to prepare the post-wedding feast, the skies were a piercing shade of blue. As well as being the perfect weather for our team to set up the cooking equipment outdoors, it was the ideal backdrop for some gorgeous, unfiltered wedding pictures.

With the catering gazebo pitched and the trio of pre-marinated meats slowly sizzling in the Hogmaster, Hog Roast Aylesbury made use of their remaining time before the bride and groom arrived with their 70 guests by setting up the wedding marquee, dressing the tables in crisp tablecloths and mint and rose coloured floral arrangements, before cooking up a selection of tasty side dishes to accompany the main meal.

Isabella and Derek’s jaws almost hit the floor when they arrived at the venue where they were greeted by a table of bright and colourful salads, piping hot potato wedges and tender carvings of BBQ pork butt, Texan 24 hour beef brisket and Cajun spiced whole roast chickens. The guests too couldn’t believe their eyes, and as they eagerly dug into the buffet, the newlyweds used their time alone to capture a few intimate moments with the help of their photographer.
