This week Hog Roast Worcester had the lovely pleasure of catering at our clients Paul and Dees wedding reception in Hawkins. With wedding catering we like to get to know our clients in order to fully understand what it is they are hoping to get out of their big day, so that we can do everything we can in order to help achieve that and that’s just what we did for this event!
Our Hog Roast Worcester chef for this event was Kris who was in charge of planning and preparing a classic menu for forty guests in attendance. This would be no problem as with a hog roast you can easily feed up to one hundred people but the ultimate challenge is in getting the meat just right. As a professional Hog Roast Worcester chef, Kris knew that timing was crucial and so although we had a serve time of 6’o’clock it is always best to arrive on site as early as possible. This allows us to get set up and get the meat cooking right away so that it is beautifully tender come serve time, not to mention means we can always assist in setting up the venue if needed as we are always happy to help!
The venue itself had been beautifully decorated for Paul and Dees big day with lots of little romantic touches throughout to really make the day special and personal to them. On site the first job is always to get the hog happily roasting away and from there we then get started on the accompaniments. All of our ingredients are locally sourced where possible meaning you and your guests get only the freshest, highest quality produce without compromising on price! For this event we would be accompanying the hog with lots of vibrant, fresh salads, roasted new potatoes and some butcher’s finest selection sausages and chips. Delicious!
