Recently, the Hog Roast Evesham team were hired by a local client, Nicola, who was hosting an event at her home. The food was served in a buffet style outside as they had a fantastic day of weather.
Nicola selected the Hog Roast Evesham team’s Menu One to serve to her 192 guests. The buffet centrepiece consisted of a whole hog which was slow roasted on site in one of the team’s Hogmaster machines. The team’s Catering Manager professional carved the meat in front of the guests and laid the fantastic crispy crackling created by the roasting machine on the buffet table. The meat itself was served on bread rolls which sides of traditional sauces, apple sauce and homemade stuffing. At Nicola’s request, the team also served sides of crunchy coleslaw, chips and sausages. The team also served a children’s option of burgers and chip which were also cooked onsite. A number of Nicola’s guests were vegetarian so the Hog Roast Evesham team also ensured that they catering for them by provided lightly grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers which were served with pitta breads and a tzatziki dip.
The Hog Roast Evesham team served their main buffet to 129 hungry adults and their children’s menu to 63 so it was really important that all of the food was ready on time so that it could be served efficiently to Nicola’s guests. The buffet was served from 5pm onwards as an evening service for the team’s guests to enjoy. The Hog Roast Evesham team was made of up of three fantastic members including Greg, David and Gosia who all worked really hard to ensure that all of the food tasted fantastic. They used fresh ingredients which they prepared and seasoned on site to ensure that everything tasted really fresh. All of the guests really enjoyed the food and many returned for second helpings so the team made sure there was more than enough food to go around. After the buffet, the team also cleared all of their equipment away quickly and discreetly and took all of the waste away with them.
