Tonight we joined the rail enthusiasts at Shackerstone Railway in Warwickshire to cater for their celebrations of the 100 Year Anniversary of the station. The enthusiasts travelled the picturesque line between Shackerstone and Shenton and back again for an hour before arriving back at the platform where we were ready to serve a sumptuous roasted Hog. The rain was coming down and the temperature was low, so the guests needed a little something to warm their cockles! And it didn’t take them long for 100 people to eat their way though the hog, just under an hour! And then back on to the train for further partying long into the night! A very enjoyable evening in all, and a nice different venue for us to tackle.
