ore popular catering choices at Christmas. Our schedule at this time of year is chock-a-block, but even our hectic festive season probably pales in comparison to our corporate customers of this week: mail delivery drivers.
The real Santas of the UK, many of us would be nowhere at Christmas without the hard work and aid of our nation’s delivery workers. Package after package has to make it up and down the country on time to avoid any Christmas disappointments, and these heroes manage to do it each and every year – and they don’t even have a magical sleigh pulled by reindeers to help them out! So, in the interest of making sure that each gift gets where it needs to go this year, our delivery drivers need some good feeding!
That is where Hog Roast Tipton have been able to help this past week. We were contacted by one of our longtime clients in the mail industry to see if we could fit in time during our busy schedule to provide a lunch service for the delivery team. One of the benefits of being a longtime corporate client of ours is that we can offer shorter lead times typically and will do all we can to get you the slot you want. Seeing as this was both a loyal Hog Roast Tipton, and in aid of some of the hardest workers at Christmas, we of course said yes and got to preparing a special festive feast for our client right away!
The lunch service went down a treat as expected and was taken in graciously by the delivery staff who had just enough of a break to enjoy our festive treat before many of them had to shoot off again for another delivery shift. It may have been a quick service, but it’s a valued one here at Hog Roast Tipton!
