Spitting Pig were proud to cater to a university leavers ball last night… and what a night that turned out to be! A group of final year university students approached us a couple of weeks ago with their ideas for their leaving ball, which is one of the biggest university events of the year, they wanted a Hog Roast in Nottingham! Straight away we knew it would be a great night and fit them perfectly in our diary.
The venue was amazing, the fantastic decorations, the large dancing hall, all but one thing missing to make it perfect… a hog roast. We knew that it was going to turn out exactly how we imagined. Straight away people were walking over to the stand to try our famous melt in your mouth hog. It was such a success! There was an option for everyone’s taste, we knew we had to cater for a wide range of people so we made sure we had a mixture of all sides and sauces to suit all the needs of the students. They couldn’t get enough! We could tell it was one of the talks of the ball just by the look on the guests faces every time they got stuck in. Our chefs were cutting perfect slices of the gorgeously roasted golden hog, everyone waited with anticipation.
The event turned out great, by using our top of the line hog roaster, we were able to cook the hog to the perfection and get it all prepared on time for the arrival of all the guests. We take pride in our service, that’s why all our hogs weigh around 45 kilograms so we can provide the most amount of meat to go around.
Unfortunately it all came to an end, we had a great time providing the food for the event of the year for the final year students. It was such an honour to be given the opportunity to be a part of this and fill everyone’s stomach with the thing we take most pride in; succulent, perfectly roasted hog. Overall the Hog Roast in Nottingham went down a treat! Congratulations to all of the graduating students, we wish you all the best for the future!
