Stanford on Soar is a small town out side Loughborough in which Spitting Pig Midland had a catering event for 120 people for a ten year business anniversary. An early start allowed us to get onsite and start the slow roasting process and set up our serving area. With the chance of rain our gazebo was the first port of call. For this event in Stanford on Soar we were providing our southern slow roast menu which includes locally sourced shoulder of pork, lamb and beef brisket. After marinating the meats in our special sauce and spice blends, which is complimentary to this menu, the 12 hour slow roast commenced. Along with the meats Spitting Pig Midland also provided Stanford on Soar with a mixture of fresh salads and jacket potato wedges which went down a treat with the stuffing and golden brown crackling. Whilst we were packing up to move on to our next location the compliments to the Slow Roast were fantastic and the pulled pork was the main attraction.
