Today Ashley and Faye travelled to cater for the Time Team guys at a ‘dig site’ in Market Harborough, where they had discovered an ancient Roman burial site, and were uncovering the mysteries of the area. We had the pleasure of meeting Tony Robinson, Phil Harding and the rest of the gang and even learnt a thing or two about archaeology! We were there to help re-enact a burial of a Roman princess, being part of the feast after the wake, with a local brewery providing lashings of real ale. The re-enaction soon turned into a party, and the whole cast and crew enjoyed our sumptuous fayre, with Mr Robinson commenting – ‘This food is simply divine!’
