We received a telephone call a few weeks ago from a guy asking if we could cater for a party he was throwing and he said three of the guests were vegetarian. We said that wouldn’t be a problem at all. We cater for lots of guests here at Hog Roast Dordon who are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free- even if guests have allergies we can custom make a menu to suit all.
When we arrived a Geoffs’s home it was snowing and we were stunned we thought the snow was well and truly gone but clearly not the case! Geoff showed us into his out building and we set to work straight away. We placed some chickens on the larger machine and marinated the chickens in a mustard honey glaze on the smaller machine we made some food suitable for the vegetarian guests and the other guests too. We placed some vegetable skewers on the machine quick and simply but very delicious using chucks of mushroom, tomato, red peppers and courgettes threaded onto sticks and glazed in a tasty honey glaze these cook to perfection. We made some mini cheese quiches for the vegetarian guests and lots and lots of colourful salads. We put on some potatoes to roast and made some fillings using cheese and tuna and a salsa filling.
Everything was looking ship shape as the guests arrived and the vegetarian guests were so impressed they loved the vegetable skewers and equally enjoyed the home made quiche and salads. The chickens were moist and full of juices the guests were telling us that is was the most tender chicken they had ever tasted and especially loved the way the chickens were marinated we love to introduce new flavours into our catering and love seeing customers reactions when we do. The vegetarian guests asked if we had any cards as they said for future parties they would most definitely be using Hog Roast Dordon we said we would be more than happy to do so. A lovely day was had and Geoff said he was amazed at the variety of food we had to offer and said the quality was first class we do aim to please.
