Great team behind me

This weekend is rather special it is my Mum’s sixtieth birthday and she said to me last week “I don’t want a fuss” well that was a silly thing to say to me! As I am going to make sure now that I do make a fuss and with my great team behind me we will spoil Mum as she so deserves it. My Mum has been a foster carer for thirty years and works so hard and asks for nothing in return, hundred of children have passed through our front door and a lot of them have children of their own now! Mum has been a good influence on them and most still keep in touch to this day and what a job I have had tracking them all down to invite to the surprise party. we have chosen the venue and now it is time to think about the menu Mum loves chicken so we must chicken and I am tempted to make a chicken curry too, I am going to cook about twenty chickens some for sandwiches and thinking some for the curry as Mum dose love curry as well. and I am thinking glazed roasted vegetables roasted to perfection with honey dressing. Think I will also do some fresh salads drizzled with sweet dressing another of Mum’s favourites. Mum will be surprised as she thinks I am busy this weekend with a large birthday party well I am in fact her’s! Yes there will be tears I know that for a fact as some of the children moved away and are grown ups now and she still remembers every one so she will be happy. Hog roast hire next weekend are hosting a 21st birthday party and this is taking place in the great out doors out in the sticks hope the snow has gone by then! Surely it would have won’t it? Well not to worry nothing will stop us come rain, snow or wind we will be out there serving the great British public the joys of hog roasting we aim to please all!
