This Thursday, our team at Hog Roast Tamworth will be back catering for Fedex for another large scale festive event. Last year we catered for their end of year staff celebration, serving a full hog roast service throughout the day. It was a pleasure supporting their teams, and we’re both proud and excited to be invited again for 2025.
If you’re not familiar with the FedEx brand, we would love to share some facts about the dedicated company. They are a global delivery network, known worldwide, operating in more than 200 countries. Their Tamworth location is a central UK location, which makes it ideal for a major sorting centre, playing a key role in UK logistics. Their commitment to looking after their staff, especially during the busiest season of the year, is something we’ve always admired. Being part of their seasonal appreciation day again means a lot to us.
Our friendly Hog Roast Tamworth team will be on site at Tremenheere Sculpture Garden, with an initial serve time of 2pm, our catering manager Lee will be overseeing the day, ensuring every detail runs smoothly and all guests experience an unforgettable feast. FedEx will be treating both their day and night shift teams to a warm festive meal. To make sure everyone is catered for comfortably, we will be serving twice throughout the day. Their dedicated day shift staff will enjoy filling their plates from 2pm onwards, whereas their deserving night shift workers will experience the tasty flavours from 9pm.
As requested, we’re bringing our festive menu with us, with a focus on hearty seasonal flavours. The showstopper of the day will be tender, whole-roasted turkey’s, roasted on site for hours before the guests begin personalising their plate and with 420 hungry mouths to feed we had to get started early! The meat will be perfectly paired with fresh cranberry sauce and our homemade sage and onion stuffing. We always ensure that no guest misses out on the delicious dishes on offer, which is why we cater for all dietary requirements and always have a vegan/vegetarian option. The alternative option on Thursday’s menu will be grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers (and a halloumi-free version for vegans), served with fresh wraps, tzatziki dip, and sweet chilli sauce or vegan pulled jackfruit served in a bun with our hickory BBQ sauce. We also have a variety of carbs including, bread rolls and wraps, including wholemeal options, we will even have gluten-free rolls available on request.
Everything will be served with napkins and onto disposable plates for ease during shift changeovers.

Last year’s event with FedEx was one of our most memorable Tamworth bookings, and we’re ready to deliver the same organised service again.
