Another fantastic weekend doing hog roast in Derbyshire. We had a lovely hog roast. It was only one of our smaller hog roast wedding menu’s but the group of people were lovely and combine that with the setting and the beautiful sunset and I really cannot think of a better job in the world. The hog roast overlooking the beach in Derbyshire was simply magical and the bride and groom certainly chose the correct location and day for their wedding. All the guests could not believe how lucky they were for the skies to clear just as all the guests came out onto the veranda for the hog roast. The sunset was mind blowing and with the meat cooked pretty much to perfection, it was one of those days that and hog roasts that you wont forget in a hurry.
On Saturday, we had 2 hog roasts. One hog roast in Warwickshire and a surprise birthday hog roast in Leicester. In Leicester we cooked lamb for 100 people and everybody raved that it was the best lamb that they had ever had, even people who do not normally eat lamb said how lovely it was. Somehow, the family had managed to keep the party a secret from Mark and he had a complete shock when he arrived. Lamb is his favourite meat and he was delighted when he realised he had a spit roasted lamb for his meal at his wonderful hog roast in Leicester. He was so happy he had three servings of the wonderful meat!!!
We love doing hog roasts in the southwest as there is such a relaxed atmosphere at most events due to the different way of life compared with many other locations. Combine that with the usually beautiful settings that we attend and that is why we love doing hog roasts all over.
Catering is our passion and if you are looking at making one of our menus more personalised then do not hesitate to give us a call and we will be more than happy to help you.
