Recently, the Hog Roast Coventry team were hired by Emma to help her host a 50th birthday party. The event was outside of the area of which the team usually cater for, however they were happy to travel that little bit further to help make Emma’s party a memorable occasion. The event was hosted at the Cove Cricket Club in Farnborough which had been decorated for the occasion. The party had lots of guests so it was important that the Hog Roast team started cooking well in advance so that all of the preparations remained on schedule.
Emma selected the Hog Roast Coventry team’s Menu One which offered a traditional buffet with all the classic dishes. A whole slow roasted hog was served alongside apple sauce, crispy crackling and homemade stuffing. The meat was cooked in the team’s Hog Master Machines to ensure that the meat was cooked evenly. In addition, a vegetarian option of lightly grilled vegetable skewers was served as an alternative to the meat. The hog roast was served to 100 people and, therefore, it was essential that there was plenty of food for all of the party’s guests. The buffet also consisted of soft bread rolls to accompany the meats.
The client was very pleased with the service the Hog Roast Coventry team delivered and did not find any fault with the food. Emma said that the guests really enjoyed the food and they were very pleased with the service. The Hog Roast team was led by Greg, the Catering Manager, who did a fantastic job of guiding the team through the busy service. They ensured that all of the food was cooked to perfection for the very important birthday party. They served the food at 8:30pm which was a late service so it key all the food was out on time so that the guests had plenty of time to eat the buffet. Emma was really grateful for the effort the team put in and the team were also delighted that they had travelled the extra mile to make the birthday party a really special occasion.
