Recently, the Hog Roast Cheltenham team were hired by a local client, Shaz, for a surprise 60th birthday party The event was held at a private home in Cheltenham in the early afternoon and was an event perfectly suited to the Hog Roast team’s catering. The food was to be served along a buffet table to suit the casual atmosphere of the party.
Shaz selected Menu One from the Hog Roast Cheltenham team’s selection of private party menus. This included a whole roasted lamb as the meat option and featured vegetable and halloumi skewers as the vegetarian option. In addition, a classic slow roasted hog was cooked in one of the team’s professional Hog Master machines and was served with apple sauce, crispy crackling and homemade stuffing. These were served with a selection of the Hog Roast team’s sauces as well as fresh bread rolls. The menu was for 30 people and so it was important that the food maintained quality and consistently. The food was cooked evenly and served fresh. In addition, all of the ingredients were fresh and locally sourced so the food tasted fantastic. The food was served at 1pm and the Hog Roast Cheltenham team arrived at 10am to begin preparing the food onsite so that they could ensure all of the food was ready on time.
The surprise was pulled off brilliantly and the party was fantastic. The guests really enjoyed the food and the buffet went down really well. The food was served with disposable wooden cutlery to suit the casual atmosphere and was cleared away by the Hog Roast Cheltenham team after the buffet was finished. The service was led by the Hog Roast team’s Catering Manager, Greg, who ensured that the service ran smoothly and all of the food was served at the same town. The event ran really smoothly and the food was kept warm in professional heated trays which ensured the food stayed warm while outside and while the food was served. The team were really pleased with the event and all of their guests had a fantastic food.
