Hog Roast Worcestershire are always on hand to make sure the catering at an event is just as memorable as the festivities and when it comes to Halloween, Home Farm in Hampton Lovett knows how to throw an unforgettable celebration.
On the weekend of the 25th of October, guests gathered in the countryside which came alive with laughter, scary costumes and of course the aroma of a slow-roasted hog filling the autumn air. Our catering manager Lee and the Hog Roast Worcestershire team were hard at work long before the guests arrived, ensuring the hog was perfectly tender and the crackling was crisp, ready to serve up for 40 hungry guests.
Our Southern Slow Roast is always a crowd pleaser but it is particularly perfect comfort food for an October afternoon. There were three meats on offer, from BBQ Pork Butt and juicy beef brisket to flavoursome minted lamb, which were all carved on site. If meat isn’t your thing, there was also a range of vegetarian options on offer, which meant no guest missed out on the tasty treats. There were grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers, served up alongside freshly baked bread rolls and wraps, ready to build the perfect bite.
Of course, no roast is complete without tasty sides. Guests could load up their plate with creamy mac and cheese, crunchy coleslaw and crispy sweet potato fries, I’m sure you’ll agree that sounds like comfort food heaven. All food was served up on bamboo crockery, which was the perfect touch to the rustic setting.
The food was the centre of the evening, as guests gathered around the fire, shared laughter and admired each other’s outfits.
Hog Roast Worcestershire thoroughly enjoyed being a part of such an unforgettable evening, as guests tucked into the food, it was clear that this evening will be one people will be talking about for Halloween nights to come.
