Today at Spitting Pig we catered a hog roast in Bewdley.
A wonderful Wedding Menu 2 for the Bride and Groom and 120 of their guests. To greet the guests as they arrived, we had a selection of 4 canapes, and a glass of Prosecco – or fresh orange for the non drinkers! After the Bride and Groom had made their entrance, which was lovely, everyone took their seats in the beautifully laid out reception room.
The Bride and Groom had chosen Pig and Beef for the main, along with our chef’s pasta salad, a fresh green leaf salad, a tomato and mozzarella salad and a home made coleslaw – along with seasoned wedges on the side. We served the top table ourselves, and after they had been served the rest of the tables came up one by one. The wedding cake was stunning, a real masterpiece. We served this up on china plates with ripe berries and a coulis of summer fruits. With fresh English cream.
We had a lovely time helping make this day special for the happy couple. It was a beautiful day for a hog roast in Bewdley, we really do enjoy catering for weddings, big or small!
