Hog Roast Burton upon Trent Makes Rob and Georgia’s Wedding Truly Memorable

On 7th August 2025, Hog Roast Burton upon Trent had the pleasure of catering Rob and Georgia’s wedding at Royle Farm Forest in Drakelow. With 100 guests to serve, the focus was on creating a seamless, stress free dining experience while ensuring every plate was packed with flavour.

From the moment guests arrived, our team set the tone for the day. The team served antipasti platters directly to tables, featuring a selection of fine Italian meats, cheeses, and artisan breads. This welcome gesture gave everyone a chance to relax, mingle, and enjoy the first taste of what was to come.

The main course was served buffet-style, with our chef carving a whole roasted free-range pig while our waiting staff ensured the accompanying dishes, from salads and freshly baked rolls to potato options, reached every guest promptly. We also catered for vegetarian and vegan guests with carefully prepared alternatives like grilled

vegetable skewers and pulled jackfruit in a bun, so no one was left out.

Our team’s attention to detail went beyond the food. From setting up eco-friendly crockery and cutlery to managing the flow of the buffet, we ensured that Rob, Georgia, and their guests could focus entirely on celebrating. The service was smooth, professional, and friendly, giving the wedding a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere from start to finish.

Desserts were served from the buffet, allowing guests to choose their favourites while our staff ensured everyone had what they needed without any rush or fuss. Throughout the day, catering manager Lee oversaw operations, making sure every element ran perfectly, giving the couple peace of mind and allowing them to enjoy every moment of their special day.

Hog Roast Burton upon Trent is proud to deliver more than just delicious food – we create a complete catering experience. By combining excellent service, thoughtful attention to detail, and a menu everyone can enjoy, we helped make Rob and Georgia’s wedding a day to remember.
